A bit of funny topic. But how many people you had approaching to you saying that you are not allowed to fly at the location and pretending they know better than you do about drones and regulations?

Luckily I didn’t had any of such people, but I would be annoyed.

Honestly, I have never had such experience after some 150 hours of flying.

Everybody that has approached me while I was flying or getting ready to fly were interested in the drone and wanted to know the usual about how far it could fly, etc

It's bound to happen one day, no doubt.

I generally don't take off near people so it's probably a factor.

I’ve seen some other people reporting that they had others approaching to them and complaining that the pilot is not allowed to fly there.

Or assuming they know better the rules even if they don’t fly drones.

Maybe in your country people are more friendly .

I tend not to fly near people too. But sometimes is difficult.

Oh i do recall now that I had one experience.

One guy told me not to fly over his house as he was renting it on Airbnb and didn't want guests disturbed.

I was not even close to his house. I wasn't in the mood to get into any arguments especially since he doesn't own the airspace.

You should've asked him, if he owns the airspace by any chance :D. As long as you take off from public, your should be ok.

I hate people like this.

I had only once a bad experience while flying my air 2s. I was flying near an American Base, there were no restrictions at all on the app. Wanted to record some videos of wind turbines.

When I saw in the video a police car, I was sure, it was after me. Located me in 5 minutes :D . They asked what I am a doing, checked the vehicles reg, asked even for license. But they did let me go at the end.
