I have been stopped by homeland security., but I am licensed and insured, do no problem.
Sure I check UAV Forcast, Aloft.AI and Weather Scope with Traffic and Restriction overlays along with TFRs. Half of the time I fly in Restricted airspace. there are 5 Airports in the NY area.Do you have an app to check for restrictions where you aren’t allowed to fly ?

Aloft.AI tells me if I am in restricted airspace. Here we have LAANCE which allows part 107 licensed pilots to reuqest limited heights in restricted airspace. If you are within the acceptable FAA limitations, lets say an average of 200 ft in a restricted area, you can get approval with the app within 30 seconds. If you need to go higher you have to fill with the FAA which takes an average of two weeks with their approval and coordination with the control tower. The other apps are fo traffic pattern awareness, weather and other temporary flight restrictions. How do you get permission? That’s a lot of apps you are using.
