What drone?
Air 3s
Location?
Pierrefonds
Rising like a dream from the mists of the Compiègne forest,The Château de Pierrefonds stands cloaked in echoes of legend and time. Its turrets pierce the sky like solemn prayers of stone,While its ramparts whisper secrets of kings, knights, and ghosts.

Each spire, each battlement, tells tales wrought in shadow and gold,Forged in the fire of medieval grandeur, reborn by romantic vision.Restored not merely with stone but with imagination,By Viollet-le-Duc, who gave myth a home once more.

The drawbridge, forever poised between past and present,Welcomes those who seek wonder beyond the veil of history.Within its halls, light spills like liquid amber through stained glass,Dancing across walls that seem to breathe with memory.

Armored silence lingers in the chapel and the crypt,While frescoes bloom like forgotten dreams upon the ceiling. The wind sings through arrow slits, a lullaby for the restless soul,And ravens circle as if guarding something sacred and unseen.

It is a castle of both fortress and fantasy,A monument to the tension between war and beauty.Pierrefonds does not merely endure—it enchants,A sentinel of France’s spirit, forever etched in stone and sky.

Everything is shot with Dji Air 3s and Dji Osmo Pocket 3

What a beautiful castle. Would love to visit it. Did you need permission to fly your air 3s?
Thanks mate.

On the right side of the castle and at the end of the park I didn't need permission. Above the lake next to the little town and castle I did need permission, that was private property and that owner rented little pedalo boats to tourists. We where there on a tuesday and wednesday. Tuesday we had a drink on his terrace and I asked him then and I got permisiion to fly over his lake on wednesday because then he was closed and nobody would be on the lake with those pedalo's. And then I used the power of the 70mm lens, it was the perfect distance for it.

I’m still surprised that you asked for permission to ask over his lake. You still didn’t need one, unless there are different rules to the UK one.

But glad that worked out and you managed to record such stunning place.

I’m impressed of the quality of that lens .

I wasn't gonna fly high and I didn't want him to think bad about drones so out of respect I did ask him.
