Yes, that’s right. Few people are reading, and fewer are contributing. Everyone are just consuming. But I like forums that they are way better organized than any social media platforms.
There is less emotion in a forum. Most peope use social media to spew their thoughts and opinions on politics and unhappiness. Forums are more about your hobbies and likes. It's more positive. People helping each other.

As mush as I would agree with you. Owning 3 forums and having the old one now 5 years since running, people still prefer social media sites over forums sadly.

But yes, people on forums provide better information than on social media sites

And you're right. People would rather be on social media. The ones that need help are probably on forums, but they are harder to teach.

Not necessarily. What I’ve noticed is, people that are using forums seems to be more knowledgeable. Due of forums to be more complex than social media sites.
I agree! I look at Social Media sites as "I really don't give a damn" and Forums such as these as "Ahhhh, I can learn something and people offer help and balanced criticism" I've learned a lot just following the two of you in this chat! Thanks Maverick Maverick and BetterBizTech` BetterBizTech`

I also own 2 more forums if you want to check:

This is a general photography: https://explorness.com/

And this is a very niche forum: https://macroderie.com/ for macro photographers.

Yes, on forums you always can find more information, but social media sites are more preferred by younger generation..
