Why DJI as a company are allowing their drones to fly far away, when the law restricts us from doing flying too far from the take off point. Basically we all need to keep VLOS, but using DJI drones, we can fly 10miles away, without even seeing the drone.

Cause they know if it flies away they will come back an buy another drone cause Dji knows your flight log an can tell how far away from your set home point you really are - your right I see so many dangerous pilots that have no respect for FAA laws in the US they fly so reckless I don’t even want to fly around them

Flying a drone can be fun, but also dangerous. Make sense for them to not restrict their drones by how far they can go. Not sure on your drones, but on my mini drone is restricted by how heigh I can fly as well.

It’s hard to say cause if you do it for a living a UAV we need be able to go above structures & towers for inspection- I have done a ton of cell towers that are over 400 agl so there is a time your agl may be 600 to 800 pending on job at hand
