Best way to transfer data from drone to PC/laptop ?

What’s the best way to transfer your data from the drone to the pc or laptop?

Personally I take out the SD card, insert into card reader and then into my laptop. Which seems to be ok for me.

I also stick the sd card in a fast hub and transfer it like that. Goes very fast and without problems

I know most people are trying to export data using USB cable, but to me seems a longer process.

Yes indeed, that takes up more time. Even with a decent usb cable it goes slower then a fast hub

It also takes time as well. I think the most effective way to export data is through SD card into Card Reader.

That's true when you compare the old hubs with the internal cardreader. But with the new and fast hubs and usb-c 3.0 then it's fast as hell.
On my high end laptop there isn't even an internal card reader anymore, only on my old one that's a midrange. Is have an older hub and 2 newer ones with high transfer data and those are unbelievable.

when you say older hub, you mean card reader ?

I've started using a USB cable. It's slower but at least I don't lose the micro SD which can be a nightmare!

What do you means by loosing sd card? From beginning I was using USB , but now only using card reader . Quicker

yes those are external card readers. You have slow, mid and high speed in them

I always thought they are all the same. But I only have the SandDisk Extreme Pro SD cards, which are reallly fast when exporting my footages from drone.
