As we are all drone pilots, we have own challenges too.
My challenges are:
- Finding places to fly
- Bad weather
- Flying legally
- Dealing with Karen’s or people that don’t like drones
What are your challenges ?
Finding out if it is ok to fly where I want to fly.

The right weather.
Needing extra batteries for more flight time.
Flying legally and still getting what I want with my videos and photos.
My biggest challenge is flying where I want when I want.
I don't have authorization like 95% of the time even if I could get it (would need 10 days in advance and no risk of actually receiving).
So, in a brutally honest way, I fly anyway and take the risk. So far have not had any issues.
No pain no gain!
I travel to Spain quite often and it's really a nightmare to fly there as all urban areas are off-limits.
I almost got in trouble in Vigo once, the police was actually searching for me lol
Yes, Vigo has sold very well.
They probably won't fine (I have a friend who was caught twice in Madrid) but will be a hassle to deal with.
If I travel to Spain and fly my mini drone. Can I get into trouble ? Obviously won't be flying next to prisons, airports or other governmental premises.
Probably not but it's still "illegal" in most urban places. Authorization is possible to request but it's a long process and no guarantees.
Here is more detail where you can and can't fly, even with the mini.
Nope, never tried to obtain authorization in Spain but my operator license is valid there so it's some consolidation.
I have flown in Madrid but in the outskirts, with no issues. It's a large country with lots of interesting nature spots so point risking too much in urban areas.
Would love to visit Spain to fly my drone there too. I would probably need to apply for a license there I guess.
Is it free?Yeah, you can do that A1/A3 exam while in Spain.
You need OP ID and Flyer ID to fly your Air3 drone, it only cost you £15 a year. Not much , worth doing it if you fly the drone.Same with me if I wish to fly in the UK with the whole flier ID etc
Since getting the DJI Mini 3 Pro my only challenges are
1. Thinking of some where to fly
2. The weather
