If you have a RC controller with a screen, do you put screen protector on it to avoid scratches.
Personally I like to have screen protection on all my gear I have.

I fly with a 13” iPad or a 10.2 iPad pending on the drone I’m flying - inspire it’s the 13” iPad Pro M4 mavic pro 2 iPad 10.2 pro M1
No not at allHow have you attached such big iPad on the controller ? Is it not awkward?
No not at all
I’ll post pictures in a few I 3D printed a extension to hold my 13”Would love to see how it sit on the controller. I bet having bigger screen, gives better view of the subject
Here’s my flying tools the one for my mavic I bought off Amazon then the holder that came with the inspire I took pictures turned into a svg file an 3D printed on my ender 2 printer to build a holder for a bigger iPad when needed
I do have a strap but don’t use - I’m normally sitting down holding the control on my lap they are not that bad a lot lighter then one of my camera bodies with the 800mm lensGreat designs, but them iPads looks huge compared to the controllers. Is not too heavy to hold them? Or you have a neck strap .
I put screen protectors on my smart controllers, but they do darken the screen. I don't put them on the pro controllers because the cases protect the screens better without darkening the screens. If you have a RC controller with a screen, do you put screen protector on it to avoid scratches.

I usually put them in a hard plastic case with foam. I like he original bags for light travel.I do have screen protector on my RC for Mini 3Pro, but haven't noticed the screen to go darker. You also can increase the brightness too. But having a case, is handy. I keep my drones in their original bags.

Yes the bags are lighter and easier to carry. The screen protector helps. For work I use the hard cases because things get jostled around during travel.Yes, these bags are really useful when comes to travel. That's the reason I do like to have screen protector on the screen controller, sometimes they can get scratched by the batteries in them bags.

I still use screen protectors but if the controller is encased in foam I don't add it.
I do. on My Mavic 3 Controller.Alright, make sense. I also saw other pilots uses some kind of accessory that covers entire controller. Do you have one of them ?
Yes, that's the one. How practical it is? Better than a screen protector ?I do. on My Mavic 3 Controller.
