What’s the best ways to make money using the drones?

So far that’s the once I know.

  • Stock photography
  • Prints photography
  • Offering aerial services
  • Content creation
  • Promo video creation
Is there any other ways you can monetise this hobby ?

One more thing i forgot to mention, selling useless stuff to other drones pilots 😆

I do sell stock content taken from the drone...earn about $100/month with it and growing every month.

As I do offer drone services to clients, mainly in real estate as well as events. Then I can charge quite a bit but lately haven't had that much of this type of work.

I'm looking to take a course soon on topography and 3D modeling taken from the drone as there's a demand for this type of service. Also something I'm interested in.

That’s an entry level of making money, I guess everyone with a drone can do that .

how do you find them clients? I’m trying as well to get offering such services, but seems is hard. Everyone can buy a cheap drone and do it themselves

There’s a reason why is huge demand. It’s really expensive to get into it. You need proper drone and proper PC for processing such files. I’m not even talking about extra training

Yes, anybody can upload the photos and videos to the agencies. My best-selling agencies are Shutterstock, Adobe stock, Pond5 and iStockphoto.

Referrals.

Yes, anybody can buy a cheap drone and do it themselves and I encourage them to do so. If they want professional services they have to pay the market rate.

Indeed. I've researched and for smaller jobs it's possible to do with a Air/Mavic. Agreed about PC, the files are absolutely huge.

I started to upload my drone footage only to these agencies . Might try others.

I thought you advertise your services as well. Agree, people will need to pay them prices, but there’s always someone who will be doing for less or even free

Forgot to mention that you might need to purchase software or its license. Not impossible, but harder to get into it.

I believe you can do such jobs only with certain drones because they have the software within. Unless you have older drone like air2s which can access third party apps.
