I do agree about this. I don't like what they do, because the authorities could imply new rules on drone pilots, making harder for us to fly.
They gather attention to for YouTube views, to make money from it.
Indeed. And they often target jobsworth earning minimum wage with little knowledge of the law.
If I can go about my day without negativity and confrontations it's a good day. I've had a few nasty encounters shooting in public which fortunately didn't escalate but there was the possibility.

I've seen them upsetting police guys too. Not sure what would be reason, but defiantly ain't helping the hobby. I know they making some money, but this is not the right way to make money.
I'm lucky, never had any nasty comments from public. That's because I try to fly my mini drone in towns to avoid gathering attention and bigger drone in places where there are less people.
Had couple of people approached and asking to see the picture. But so far, didn't had any Karens

You need to get a hi-vis. People will think you are at work and won't bother you.
